What Compass Sales Solutions Can Do For Your Dealership

I have been in the industry since 1986 having been both a Sales representative and Sales manager.  Competition has always been a major part of our industry and most recently the gross margins have been decreasing. 

How we could offer more value by capturing all the prints and copies became a reality in my first Print Management sale back in June of 2006. 

Up until that time, it was a mystery to me as to how to present the costs and the savings until our dealership arranged for Compass Sales Solutions to present their Analyzer and Proposal tools to our Sales Team at Scott’s Office –   

 

Using Compass Solution tools, I was able to show the client’s current printing costs and a proposed solution with added equipment but with a lower monthly cost of operation.  The 10 Print Management Sales since June has brought me Sales Revenue of well over $200,000 and service revenue totaling $500,000 over the next 48 months that I otherwise would not have won. 

In one particular sale, every competitor was approaching the IT Department to upgrade their old digital equipment – same approach with no call back.  Emails and phone messages went  unanswered.  We won an audience with the IT Department using a combination of Document Management and Print Management services –

They signed the deal ordering 5 new Digital MFP’s both B&W and Full Color including coverage for 23 H/P printers – they perceived the value through the use of the Compass Sales Solution tools – the deal was worth over $80,000 in hardware and provided a value-added service to this major client.  It was a huge success and was one of the 10 deals since June.
